The organization focus on this thematic area is meant to contribute on addressing climate change effects through innovative and multifaceted approaches covering both climate change adaptation and mitigation efforts. The purpose is to enhance the resilience of our target community through innovative practices while simultaneously contribute on reducing carbon emissions.

Community economic empowerment (women, youth, and vulnerable people)

The organization promotes community economic empowerment by multifaceted approach aimed at enabling communities to take charge of their own economic destinies through strategic participation, entrepreneurship initiatives, capacity building, strategic collaborations, establishment of Community Development Corporations (CDCs,), promotion of community-based tourism. The organization equips the community through designated trainings and workshops to aid them gain control over their economic resources and decision-making in shaping their economic future and overall livelihood...

Children protection and Children right governance

The organization utilizes the INSPIRE strategy in service delivery, capacity building, systems strengthening and awareness creation in the prevention and responding to violence against children and adolescents. Under such comprehensive approach, the organizations ensures children’s voices are heard, their needs are met, and their rights are protected. In its integrated manner, such an outcome is realized through focusing on ensuring supportive legal frameworks, accountability mechanisms, civic engagement, resource allocation, addressing systemic barriers, monitoring progress and fostering international cooperation...

Water Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH)

Nemeka Foundation promotes access to clean drinking water and improved sanitation practices within our community. The organization intends to achieve that capacity building of water resources management bodies, implementation of rural and urban pro-poor water and sanitation supply schemes with specific contexts - appropriate or adapted technological options, providing technical assistance to both water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) line Ministries, regional and district Government and other utilities on developing supportive policies, strategies, guidelines and district wide plans for water, sanitation and hygiene programs; apply and test commercial models for water, sanitation and hygiene services for the poor and providing technical assistance and developing capacities of water supply management bodies...
