On mitigation, the organization deploys various strategies to cope with climate change. The key approaches includes: promotion of low-emission energy technologies, advocate for policies meant to conserve energy usage, promote improved livestock management; contribute to enhancing feed efficiency and manure management practices, promote best waste management practices, promote afforestation and reforestation policies (including REDD+), promote agroforestry practices; integrating trees into farming systems to sequester carbon.
